Today, the Komen Race for the Cure Series is the world's largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer. New Balance is the longest running sponsor of the series.

In 2008, New Balance will contribute 15% of wholesale sales from the Lace Up for the Cure Collection with guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 up to a maximum of $1 million. The Lace Up for the Cure Collection is a collection of high-quality performance footwear, apparel, and accessories that all feature a pink ribbon, the universal symbol of breast cancer awareness. New Balance encourages consumers to wear items from the Collection to honor loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer, to celebrate survivors, and to demonstrate their support for the cause.
